Stars defenseman Stephane Robidas has received an automatic one-game suspension for his boarding penalty Tuesday against Anaheim's Matt Beleskey.
Robidas received a game misconduct penalty for the hit, and it was his second game misconduct penalty in the same category in the past 41 games, which triggers the automatic suspension. Robidas also received a game misconduct for boarding March 16 vs. San Jose.
Robidas will sit out Thursday's game against Los Angeles, and the Stars could call up Philip Larsen to play in that game.
If Robidas receives another game misconduct for boarding or checking from behind in the next 41 games, he will receive an automatic two-game suspension.
