The Stars stayed in the Toronto area and practiced at the Maple Leafs practice facility in Etobicoke today.
James Neal stayed off to rest the cut on his leg that he sustained Monday against the Leafs, but he said he should be fine for Wednesday's game at Ottawa.
Karlis Skrastins had a maintenance day and rode the bike while watching practice.
However, Mark Fistric and Toby Petersen got tangled up as they were chasing a puck into the corner and Fistric went down hard. He tried to skate, but he left the ice early and could have a groin injury. The Stars will let him get treatment and then see if he responds at the morning skate on Wednesday.
Andrew Raycroft will get the start in goal against the Senators. It will be the third of the year for him.
