Dallas earned its 30th win tonight. The Stars did not reach 30 wins last season until March 16 vs. SJ (8-2 win). Dallas has now won 30-or-more games in 14 consecutive seasons - the fifth-longest streak in the NHL.
Brenden Morrow netted his 20th and 21st goals tonight, giving the Stars the most 20-goal scorers in the NHL this season with three - James Neal (20), Brad Richards (20) and Morrow (21).
The Stars are undefeated in regulation over their last eight games against the Edmonton Oilers at American Airlines Center (7-0-1 record).
Dallas is 4-0-1 in its last five home games. In that span, the Stars have outscored the opposition 20-7 and have converted on 8-of-20 power play opportunities (40.0%). They have also stopped 13-of-15 on the penalty kill (86.7%). Kari Lehtonen has a 1.37 goals-against-average (GAA) and a .957 save percentage (SV%) in that span.
The Stars boast the best winning percentage in the NHL when they score the first goal this season (.904, 23-2-1).
Dallas hasn't lost in regulation when it leads after two periods this season (16-0-1).

Brenden Morrow recorded his fourth multiple-goal game of the season (two goals) and has now has points in nine of his last 13 games (7 goals, 5 assists). With his 20th and 21st goals of the season tonight, Morrow has now scored 20-or-more goals in seven of his 11 NHL seasons and has now equaled his goal total from the 2009-10 season.
Jamie Langenbrunner has assists in two of his last three games (3 assists) and notched his first multiple-point game in his current stint as a Dallas Star (his third multiple point game this season overall). Langenbrunner's last multi-point game this season was at PHI on 12/4/10 as a member of the New Jersey Devils.
Adam Burish scored his seventh goal of the season (new career-high for goals). His previous career-high was six. This season, Burish has recorded two goals and two assists against the Oilers in three games. Burish has scored more goals against Edmonton than any other team during his NHL career (3). Three of his 18 career goals have come vs. EDM.
Mike Ribeiro has points in 12 of his last 13 games (four goals, 12 assists). Heading into tonight's game, Ribeiro ranked eighth in NHL in assists. Ribeiro also recorded his 11th multi-point game of the season. The Stars improved to 9-2-0 this season when he has a multi-point game.
Stephane Robidas has assists in three of his last four games (three assists). The Stars are 15-2-1 this season when he records at least one point.
Travis Morin made his NHL debut tonight against Edmonton and logged 10:07 minutes. In 45 games this season with the Texas Stars (Dallas' primary development affiliate in the AHL) Morin has recorded 13 goals and 19 assists.
