Stars center Brad Richards, who missed the game against Edmonton with an upper body injury, and defenseman Nicklas Grossman, who missed the game with a hip injury, will not play Wednesday at Calgary, Stars coach Marc Crawford said.
Grossman is with the team, but Richards is back in Texas. Richards could fly up in time for Saturday's game against Vancouver if he is feeling better, Crawford said.
``Brad is going to be evaluated again (Wednesday), and hopefully he'll be feeling better,'' Crawford said. ``Right now, we just have to continue to do what's right for Brad.''
When asked if the injury, which occurred on a collision in Sunday's game against Columbus, is to the head, Crawford said:
``We haven't defined it. He's just not feeling 100 percent.''
Grossman said he also wants to be as healthy as he can be before he returns.
``It's a tough place for defenseman, so you don't want to injure it again,'' said Grossman, who was too sore to skate on Tuesday. ``You hope you can get it healthy and then it stays healthy.''
