The Stars practiced at AAC today because they had their team picture taken.
A couple of key injury updates today.
Loui Eriksson went through a full practice and looked great. He would like to play Wednesday against Anaheim, but Stars coach Marc Crawford wanted to be cautious because of the concussion-like symptoms. Crawford said no determination would be made until Eriksson participates in the morning skate on Wednesday.
We also were updated on Nicklas Grossman. He has an MCL sprain in his knee (not sure which one) and will be out for ``a bit,'' Crawford said. Crawford said the team was actually pleased the injury was not to the ACL and not worse than it is, so that is a good sign.
Karlis Skrastins continues to rehab and is listed as doubtful with his lacerated thigh.
Adam Burish (lower body) is not skating, and Brian Sutherby has a back injury and also is out.
Brad Lukowich was at practice and looked good. He said he's excited about stepping into such an intense situation, and said that the Texas Stars have been playing similarly intense games down in the AHL because of their battle to make the playoffs.
Kari Lehtonen is in goal again.
