Rangers announce opening day plans

If you're still looking for tickets for the Rangers home opener April 8, you're in luck if you're not worried about the view. There are still a few obstructed view tickets availalbe as well as standing-room only seats for the games against the Orioles. Tickets can be purchased at the first base ticket office or by calling 972-RANGERS. Gates will open for the 1:07 game at 10 a.m. Pre-game ceremonies begin at 12:20.

The highlight of the pre-game ceremonies will be longtime Rangers radio voice Eric Nadel throwing out the first pitch. Nadel will be accompanied on the mound by team president Nolan Ryan.

Country music singer Neal McCoy will sing the national anthem and the ceremonies will also include a flyover by a bald eagle as well as a pair of BI bombers.

Parking lots open at 8 a.m.
