Welcome back, baseball

Just got back from Opening Night in Washington D.C. and seriously, if you're visiting the city this summer, take a trip to the new stadium. Outside of the flat-out incredible scoreboard (the biggest high definition screen in the world they said), there's no single thing that stands out...no green monster...no hill in center field....no short right field porch...but in its totality, it's a great place. It IS beautiful, (the slightly higher cost sceens are padded, not plastic or wood) with the cherry blossom trees in the entrance way...the landmarks, but they need to figure out something about the food. While it is flat out the best I've EVER had at a baseball game, two half smokes, a small order of fries and a botle of water was.....TWENTY EIGHT dollars.

Still, it's always a good thing for the fans when a player wins it with a walk-off homer in the ninth.
