Ben Broussard, who last started in the outfield last July against Texas, is in left field working along with Brandon Boggs. Manager Ron Washington said Broussard would get some more time in the outfield with Chris Shelton now on the team.

ok so who is broussard gonna take away playing time from in the outfield? He wasn't doing anything as a first baseman what makes the Rangers think he will do anything there?
