Rangers infielder Hank Blalock underwent surgery on his right wrist this morning to relieve the pain caused by carpal tunnel syndrome. Blalock will be out three to four weeks. Blalock originally went on the disabled list April 26 with a torn left hamstring. After that healed, he was set to to return to the lineup as a first baseman last Friday in Cleveland. That's when he let the team know he was having problems with the wrist. The Rangers tried medication and a cortisone shot before deciding on the surgery.
