Josh Hamilton, who was interviewed last week by Albert Chen of Sports Illustrated, will be featured on this week's cover, which hits newsstands Wednesday.
Hamilton is among the American League leaders in average (.327) home runs (12) and RBI (53).
Hamilton is the first Rangers player to be on the SI cover in nearly 11 years. Ivan Rodriguez was the cover subject for the Aug. 11, 1997 issue.
