Chris Davis gets first hit

Chris Davis didn't have to wait too long for his first major league hit. In his first at bat pinch-hitting in the ninth inning, The Oklahoma City call up squirted a slow roller to third base on the first pitch he saw. The Astros Ty Wigginton didn't have a play on Davis at first base. Marlon Byrd promptly drove Davis in for the Rangers second run of the night. Rangers still down 7-2 with one out in the ninth inning.
