The Rangers have put left-handed starter Kason Gabbard on the disabled list with left elbow inflammation and called up reliever Warner Madrigal from Triple A. Gabbard pitched just 3 1/3 innings Friday night and didn't factor in the decision. He has two wins this year and a 4.82 ERA. He's walked 39 in 56 innings and allowed 64 hits. This will be his second trip to the DL this year. Madrigal pitched for both Frisco and Oklahoma this season. Combined, he went 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA and 14 saves in 31 appearances.

Good idea. Now let's see if we can find some elbow inflammation in Benoit and C. J. Wilson. That kind of inflammation that does not go away and requires the "inflammer" to stay on the DL.
