Dog days

On Saturday, Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington said it was the beginning of the dog days.

Well, it certainly is. The Rangers do play games at a slow three-hour pace usually, but today's game is going even slower. An hour-and-a-half into the game and we've just played three innings!
