The Yankees 10-game winning streak at the Ballpark is over. Marlon Byrd's walkoff grand slam on Damaso Marte's 42nd pitch has ended the game. The Rangers won 9-5 on Byrd's seventh homer. He has 27 RBI. Not a bad way to start a crucial series. "I missed the home run," Byrd said. "I struck out in my next at-bat without taking the bat off my shoulders. They gave me another chance. I'll take it." Byrd said he knew the ball was gone as soon as he hit it. It's the second walk-off homer of his career.

Nice. Heck of a way to end the game.
