Rangers starter Vicente Padilla hasn't looked much different that he has of late. None of his innings have been easy, and his pace slows dramatically when an opposing batter reaches base. I'd be worried about Curtis Granderson, too, but Padilla also went into the four corners with Carlos Guillen at second base.
Padilla's saving grace has been two inning-ending double plays in the first and third. Nothing speeds up a game like a double play. Unfortunately, no one can slow a game like Padilla.
It's a scoreless game as the Rangers come to bat in the third.
