Rangers take first lead, again

For the third time in three games at Anaheim, the Rangers have scored first. The problem in the first two games was they didn't score last. Local boy Gerald Laird drove in Milton Bradley with a sacrifice fly to make the score 1-0. (Wait. Beach-ball delay. OK.) Chris Davis is up with two outs and the chance to do more damage.

Speaking of damage, Davis came very close to ruining Star-Telegram property (this laptop) Friday night with a foul ball into the open-air press box. Were it not for a four-inch strip of metal railing, the parent company would have had to scraped up some loose change for emergency repairs.

Davis struck out to end the Rangers' half of the fourth. They lead 1-0.
