Blalock honored

First baseman Hank Blalock finished the 2008 regular season as the co-player of the week in the American League. He shared the awared with Tampa Bay outfielder Ben Zobrist after hitting .400 (10-for-22) with three doubles, four homers and nine RBI. Zobrist hit .455 with four homers and seven RBI.
