Great game for Danks

Left-hander John Danks, the Texan traded away by the Texas Rangers, is pitching the game of his young life for the Chicago White Sox.

In the one-game playoff to settle the American League Central title, Danks, 23, has a two-hitter through eight innings as the White Sox lead the Minnesota Twins 1-0. Jim Thome's seventh-inning home run broke up a scoreless duel between Danks and Minnesota's Nick Blackburn.
