Mariners back in front

Defense let down Kevin Millwood and the Rangers in the fifth. A bad-hop double off the shoulder of Hank Blalock (he never got completely in front of the hard chopper) by Raul Ibanez started the inning. Ibanez moved to third on a groundout, and Jeremy Reed hit a roller to Blalock with one out. Ibanez appeared to be holding at third when the ball rolled past Blalock for an error. Reed later scored an unearned run to make it 6-4.
