Buechele new Bakersfield manager

Former Texas Rangers third baseman Steve Buechele has been named the manager of the Class A Bakersfield Blaze, one of several moves the Rangers made in finalizing their minor league staff. Former big league infielder Spike Owen is the new infielder instructor and another ex big leaguer - Harry Spilman - is a special assistant. Jeff Andrews, who was the Pittsburgh Pirates' pitching coach last season, is the new pitching coach for Spokane. Danny Clark has also been moved from pitching coach at Class A Clinton to pitching coordinator.
