After perusing through the 2008 season summary guide, the rather disturbing number ended up being 1,520 days on the season. In all, there were 21 players who made trips to the DL. No one went on the disabled list more than twice. The two-time offenders were Kevin Millwood, Hank Blalock, Kason Gabbard, Eric Hurley, Luis Mendoza and Vicente Padilla. Six players spent at least 100 days on the disabled list. John Rheinecker missed the entire season, while Blalock, A.J. Murray, Brandon McCarthy, Doug Mathis and Jason Jennings also were on the 100-day club. Speaking of Millwood, we'll get a chance to see the slimmed-down Kevin today when the Rangers have their media luncheon. Chris Davis will also be on hand as the Rangers discuss stadium changes. Check back later today for more info.
