Nolan Ryan is in town and had the misfortune of walking toward two members of the Dallas-Fort Worth media. No harm was inflicted upon the Rangers' team president, who when asked if he was here to woo a big-time free-agent pitcher, responded: "You always set your sights high." Then, he chuckled -- probably because he has stated that the Rangers' payroll won't exceed $75 million in 2009 and signing C.C. Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, Ben Sheets or Derek Lowe wouldn't fit financially.
