A-Rod admits to using performance-enhancing drugs

In an exclusive interview with ESPN's Peter Gammons, Alex Rodriguez admits to using performance-enhancing drugs, but says he did so only with the Texas Rangers in 2001-2003, and hasn't since. The live interview is set to play on ESPN SportsCenter very soon, according to ESPN at 1:25 p.m.

Update: A-Rod tells Gammons he's sorry for what he did, says the atmosphere in baseball was very loosey-goosey at the time, and he was young, that much in a portion of the interview that aired at 1:30 p.m.

ESPN says the entire interview will air at 5 p.m. today on SportsCenter.
