The Rangers just released word that center fielder Andruw Jones and right-handed reliever Brendan Donnelly, both former All-Stars, have signed minor-league deals with invitations to spring training. The deals had been reported over the weekend.
Jones' deal is for $500,000 with a March 20 opt-out date, and Donnelly will make $950,000 if he makes the big-league roster. Donnelly can get his release if not on the big-league roster March 27 or April 27.
