Sheets considering surgery

MLB.com is reporting that the Rangers and Ben Sheets had a two-year deal in place until a flexor-tendon tear was discovered in his right elbow during a physical. According to ESPN, Sheets is considering surgery that would force him to miss the 2009 season. Calls to multiple members of the Rangers' front office have not been returned.

I'm not surprised no one is answering the phone. This is the worst public relations nightmare since the Young to 3rd debacle. The Rangers are snakebit and just can't catch a break. Could it be we still haven't paid for our David Clyde sins? Karma is a b****
