Jones homers, Davis leaves game

The Rangers and Giants exchanged runs in the fourth inning, with the Rangers' tally coming on Andruw Jones' second spring home run. He doubled off the base of the left-field wall to lead off the second inning.

The Giants answered with a leadoff triple by Nate Schierholtz that Jones couldn't keep from getting to the wall at the spacious Scottsdale Stadium. Schierholtz scored on a sacrifice fly by Kevin Frandsen.

First baseman Chris Davis left the game after his fourth-inning at-bat with stiffness/soreness in his patella tendon. The Rangers stressed that taking Davis out of the game was strictly a precautionary move.
