Scott Feldman allowed four runs in five innings, Jason Jennings pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief, and the Rangers scored three times in the ninth inning to beat Kansas City.
Feldman, who is being considered for the bullpen, said he fully expects to be in the starting rotation when the regular season begins April 6. "That's what I've been working for," he said.
Nelson Cruz homered, his sixth of the spring, to give the Rangers a 2-0 lead in the first. The game was tied 5-5 when minor-leaguer Marcus Lemon delivered the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the ninth. Travis Metcalf and Andruw Jones added RBI singles later in the inning.
