Right-hander Derrick Turnbow, who is competing for a spot in the bullpen, did not make the trip to Scottsdale for a scheduled relieft appearance after twisting his right knee Sunday. Manager Ron Washington said the knee was swollen, so the decision was made to keep him in Surprise for treatment.
