Feldman to bullpen as roster nears completion

The 25-man roster might be a done deal:

<>The Rangers have told Scott Feldman that he will start the season in the bullpen, and that presumably opens a spot in the rotation for Kris Benson. First, though, some contract details must be ironed out in Benson's minor-league deal, and the Rangers are sorting through that with the right-hander this morning in Surprise.

<>A source said that the Rangers will wait a few more days to find a trade partner willing to take Frank Catalanotto, but he will likely be released if that doesn't happen. That means Andruw Jones will be the last player on the bench.

<>Jason Jennings will be added to the 40-man roster today and has been told he will be in the bullpen to start the season. Not shocking at all.

<>Omar Vizquel is expected to learn later today that he has made the club. Not a shock there, either.
