Former broadcaster Harmon passes away

Merle Harmon -- who broadcast Rangers games from 1982 to 1989 in addition to earlier stops with Milwaukee, the New York Jets and NBC -- died earlier today at age 82. He was a longtime veteran by the time he got to the Rangers, the last team he covered, and he helped further the careers of, among others, current radio play-by-play voice Eric Nadel.
