Nelson Cruz' RBI single scored Hank Blalock with two outs in the bottom of the eighth to lift the Rangers past Oakland. The Rangers (10-10) are back to the .500 mark for the first time since April 12. Kevin Millwood (2-2) went eight innings, allowing two earned runs to notch his first win since Opening Day. Texas trailed 3-1 before scoring three times in the bottom of the sixth inning, with Jarrod Saltalamacchia's two-run single the big hit. Frank Francisco pitched the ninth for his sixth save and kept his ERA at 0.00.
