Tonight's lineup; a few notes

Only one difference from yesterday's lineup. A right-hander is pitching, so Hank Blalock is the clean-up hitter.

Ian Kinsler, 2b

Michael Young, 3b

Josh Hamilton, cf

Hank Blalock, dh

Nelson Cruz, rf

David Murphy, lf

Chris Davis, 1b

Jarrod Saltalamacchia, c

Elvis Andrus, ss

As promised a few notes:

<>Brandon McCarthy will start the season as the No. 3 starter, and Kris Benson will start the club's fourth game -- the Detroit Tigers' home opener. The coaching staff decided he was better suited for the hoopla that goes with an opener.

<>First baseman Joe Koshansky's storied week with the Rangers has come to an end. He was claimed by the Milwaukee Brewers and promptly sent to Triple-A Nashville.
