Smoak, Ramirez to minor-league DL

The Rangers' top hitting prospect, first baseman Justin Smoak, and top catching prospect, Max Ramirez, are headed to the seven-day disabled list in the minor leagues. Neither injury -- Smoak's left oblique or Ramirez's right wrist -- is believed to be serious, but the Rangers see no need to push either player.
