Rangers standing pat on Frank Francisco

The Rangers did not put closer Frank Francisco on the disabled list Saturday. Manager Ron Washington said today was his day off from throwing and that Sunday they would really "amp him up and see how it goes." He'll follow that with another off day Monday and the Rangers will see where he's at Tuesday for the series opener against Houston. Francisco, who hasn't pitched in 10 days, is on a throwing program.
