The good from the game was Tommy Hunter, who worked on his cutter between his last spot start and this one and was effective with it. Hunter could still be sent back to Oklahoma City Monday as the Rangers are still working with a three-man bench. Texas won't need a fifth starter until July 7.
And on to the bad.
In the last nine games, the Rangers are hitting .202.
Sunday marked the first time in the history of RBIA the Rangers have been one-hit at home.
The Rangers have been held to two hits or less five times this season. That's tied for the second most in club history. The record is 10 in 1972 and unfortunately, the Rangers are on record-setting pace.
