Rangers win 3-1; Hamilton 0-for-5

Tommy Hunter picked up his first big-league victory, allowing only a run in 5 1/3 innings as the Rangers beat Tampa Bay 3-1. Hank Blalock had a two-run homer, and Marlon Byrd had a two-out, run-scoring double. Jason Jennings, C.J. Wilson and Frank Francisco finished off the Rays, with Francisco getting his 13th save.

The Rangers will play Tampa Bay again tonight, again without Josh Hamilton. He went 0-for-5 against Iowa, and a rain shower prevented him from playing center field as a precaution. So, he will head to Oklahoma City and play against Omaha tonight. The soonest Hamilton can return is Sunday.

In the game Friday, outfielder Brandon Boggs suffered a dislocated shoulder while making a catch in left field. He is out indefinitely.
