We've seen the last of Josh Hamilton this season.
The Rangers made the decision Tuesday to shut the outfielder down for the final week of the season since he is still troubled by the pinched nerve in his back."
"It just won't go away, so we decided to just let him go on and get his treatment and hopefully get it well," Washington said of the pinched nerve in Hamilton's back. "No activity, just rehab. Then he'll go into his winter program and get it stronger and be ready for spring training."
Hamilton said he knows exactly what he needs to do to stay healthy.
"I need to find a cure for running into walls," he said.
