Former baseball agent and current Chicago White Sox executive Dennis Gilbert was at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on Wednesday to meet with club officials as he continues to pursue buying the Rangers from Hicks Sports Group.
Team president Nolan Ryan and general manager Jon Daniels were involved in the meetings, just as they were last week when Houston businessman Jim Crane and Pittsburgh attorney Chuck Greenberg were in town.
The timetable for the sale to be completed isn't etched in stone. Some reports have said November. Others believe the sale won't be completed until spring training. The other 29 big-league club owners must approve the winning bidder.

The sooner it is out of Hicks hands, the better for all Rangers fans!
