Houston businessman Jim Crane met Tuesday at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington with representatives from Hicks Sports Group and the Rangers as the "process of identifying potential investors" in the club continues.
The meetings included a tour of the ballpark and conferences with the baseball and business operations staffs. Team president Nolan Ryan and general manager Jon Daniels were involved in the process, said HSG in a statement that described the day's events as "routine and part of the normal due-diligence process."
