The Rangers are hosting the Josh Hamilton and Triple Play Ministries yout baseball camp at Rangers Ballpark in Arlingotn Nov. 14. The camp runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is open for youngsters 10-18. Hamilton is headlining the camp, which will include instruction on baseball drills, proper practice techniques, game situations, and fulfilling potential. Instruction will also be given on hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, weight training, flexibility, and team offense and defense.
Guest speakers will include Rangers Hall of Fame catcher Jim Sundberg and Rangers outfielder David Murphy. Instructors will include former Ranger players Dave Hostetler, Mike Jeffcoat, Mike Simms, and Todd Van Poppel. Lunch will be provided. Each camper will have the opportunity to meet Josh Hamilton and receive an autographed photo and cap.
