Scott Feldman wins pitching honor and operations changes

To the surprise of no one, right-hander Scott Feldman has been named the Rangers pitcher of the year. The team also announced several changes in the baseball operations department. For those of you who like to update your media guide, here they are.

  • Scott Littlefield named Special Assistant, Scouting
  • John Booher named Professional Scout
  • Greg Smith named Major League Scout
  • Matt Vinnola named Director, Baseball Operations
  • Jake Krug named Assistant Director, Player Development
  • Phil Geisler named East Coast Crosschecker
  • Todd Walther named Professional Scout
  • Matt Klotsche named Assistant, Baseball Operations
  • Richard “Hoggy” Price named Equipment and Home Clubhouse Manager
