Rich Harden's incentives

In case you're wondering how Rich Harden's deal for 2010 can jump from $6.5 million all the way to $9 million, it's based on innings pitched. Harden earns a $500,000 bonus if he pitches 155 innings. He also receives a $500,000 bonus at 165 innings pitched, 175, 185 and 195.
