Texas Rangers radio broadcaster Eric Nadel is the recipient of the 2009 National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Texas Sportscaster of the Year Award. It is the fifth time he has been selected (1999, 2001, 2002, 2006). Nadel will start his 32nd season as a Rangers’ announcer, his 16th as the team’s lead radio voice, in March. The award is presented in May in Salisbury, NC.
