One person who isn't concerned about the catching situation with the Texas Rangers is catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Saltalamacchia had surgery last year for thoracic outlet syndrome on his right shoulder and then left winter league play early because of fatigue in the arm. But Saltalamacchia feels like he'll be ready to go for spring training. "The shoulder is good," Saltalamacchia wrote in a text. "I expect to start my offseason program after the the weekend." Saltalamacchia started lifting weights about a month ago.
