i'd like to see it, but if Sheets thinks he's getting 8-12M/year as I heard earlier, it surely ain't happening here. would mean every team in baseball has to say no to that before Texas has a chance to sign him. possible, but not likely.
i'll be impressed if JD can wrangle any more money to sign anyone for much more than the veteran minimum now, let alone a Sheets deal. surely the coffers must be long-since bone dry til we get new ownership...
