The Rangers and C.J. Wilson found mutual ground on a $3.1 million contract for 2010. The left-hander, who will get a chance at the rotation this spring, had been eligible for arbitration. The Rangers now have four players -- outfielder Josh Hamilton and right-handers Scott Feldman, Frank Francisco and Chris Ray -- who have yet to come to terms.
The club also annouced that it has hired Joe Furukawa as the coordinator of Pacific Rim operations. He will handle day-to-day scouting in the Far East. Jim Colborn remains the director of Pacific Rim operations.
