No decision on final bullpen spot

Manager Ron Washington said after Saturday's 3-1 loss that the final bullpen spot still hasn't been decided. Doug Mathis, Willie Eyre and Guillermo Moscoso are the leading candidates for the final spot on the pitching staff.

I hope I'm wrong but I see this team, after 20 games being 4-16 and Washington will be fired (hopefully) and they'll average around 3 runs per game. Josh Hamilton will play in less than 60 games this year.

i fear it's a definite possibility. at the least these 3 retread losers 'battling' for the long reliever only spot won't help. i understand needing to send Holland/etc to AAA to keep them stretched out as a starter, but with Choke Job moving to starter we are actually thin on bullpen depth and heavy on starter depth. i'd rather see one of the starters be kept as a reliever again this year or spot-starter injury-fillin that has potential, than see one of these losers pitch any innings above.
