Colby Lewis has left the team to attend to a personal matter. General manager Jon Daniels said that Lewis will make his next start Sunday as scheduled.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia went 1-for-4 as the designated hitter for Triple A Oklahoma City. Daniels said Saltalamacchia will have to catch nine innings in consecutive games before being activated from the disabled list.

Nelson Cruz is OK. The cramp in his right hamstring went away after treatment, massage therapy and putting lots of water in his system. He did not work out his legs this afternoon.
