Nelson Cruz's right hamstring was stronger than it was Wednesday, and he told manager Ron Washington he could play tonight. So, he's playing but as the designated hitter as Vladimir Guerrero gets his first day off of the season. Guerrero is fine, said Washington, and is simply getting some rest time.
