The Rangers Mailbag rarely closes, though Monday's events caused pretty much all other activities to stop. Now comes a new day, some courtroom maneuvering and who knows what from the 40 lenders who can't be too happy about the Rangers filing for bankruptcy as a vehicle to get around the lenders and get the sale done.
On the field, the Rangers are coming off a 5-2 homestand as they open an eight-game road trip, three-city road trip tonight at Kansas City. Rich Harden goes for the Rangers, who offensively boast the reigning AL Player of the Week (Nelson Cruz) and two All-Star starters in the first round of voting (Vladimir Guerrero and Cruz).
